This composition uses exclusively frequency modulation (FM synthesis). By the use of a MIDI sequencer, in which all FM parameters were stored parallel to the notes, long continuing sound transformations of all parameters of on sound were possible into all parameters of another sound. The title does not however only refer to sound transitions, It refers also to transitions between different density states and time layers and other musical parameters (space, duration, dynamics etc..) experience transitions up to their extremes.
