The composition 'object-obstacle' proceeds from sound material, which was recorded with contact microphones on self built resonators. After experiments with computer simulations of physical models (with programs such as Modalys and Genesis) I became more and more interested in the coupling of different vibrating bodies and designed myself some objects with springs, wooden boxes and different small objects. The recorded sequences from these "instruments" were not only sound sources for further transformations, but contained already musically structured evolutions. The electroacoustic composition multiplies the played gestures into a large sound field and combines them with synthesized sounds of physical models.
